Unique Los Angeles independent design and gift show opens

While there’s much to be said for mass retailers (ahem, H&M), sometimes, a diva wants something all the other hipsters don’t have.

Unique Los Angeles, duh.

Jam-packed with clothing, accessories, jewelry, house wares, and more, Unique is the biggest independent design and gift sale around, and it’s all going down this weekend (Dec. 5 & 6) at the California Market Center (110 East 9th St., Downtown).

Featuring more than 300 independent designers – including local creatives like Amy Tangerine, who is offering more than 60-percent off her kitschy shirts – the two-day shopping event is a surefire way to set you apart.

Entry ($10) gets you unlimited access, an exclusive tote, and free admission to the many design workshops, so divas are encouraged to loiter from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.

You’ll discover all finds are one of a kind and impossibly diva.
